Manufacturer: Sun Pharma
Pharmaceutical name: Duloxetine Hydrochloride
Pack: 10 pills (40 mg)
Duzela is frequently prescribed for conditions such as generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, nerve pain related to diabetes, fibromyalgia, and chronic muscle or joint discomfort. The active component in Duzela is Duloxetine Hydrochloride. Additionally, it is utilized to manage fibromyalgia, alleviate pain stemming from diabetic nerve damage (diabetic neuropathy), and address chronic musculoskeletal pain, including issues related to osteoarthritis and persistent lower back pain.
Take Duzela precisely as your doctor has instructed. Do not exceed or reduce the dosage or duration of use without guidance. Your doctor may adjust your dosage periodically to ensure optimal effectiveness. Aim to take Duzela at the same time daily. Do not crush, chew, break, or open a delayed-release capsule; swallow it whole. Altering the capsule may result in an excessive release of the medication at once.
It may take 4 weeks or more for your symptoms to show improvement. Continue to use Duzela as directed and do not discontinue usage without consulting your doctor first, as abrupt cessation can lead to uncomfortable side effects.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction to Duzela, such as a skin rash or hives, breathing difficulties, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Notify your doctor about any new or worsening symptoms, including mood or behavioral changes, increased anxiety, panic attacks, sleep disturbances, impulsiveness, irritability, agitation, hostility, aggression, restlessness, hyperactivity (mentally or physically), worsening depression, or thoughts of suicide or self-harm.
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any serious side effects while on Duzela, including nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, decreased appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), faintness, agitation, hallucinations, fever, rapid heartbeat, overactive reflexes; extremely stiff muscles, high fever, excessive sweating, confusion, irregular or rapid heartbeats, tremors; easy bruising, unusual bleeding; painful or difficult urination; headache, trouble focusing, memory issues, weakness, a feeling of being unsteady, loss of coordination, fainting, seizures, shallow breathing, or halted breathing.
This is not an exhaustive list of side effects, and others may occur.
